Higgins Unanimously Endorsed by Palatine Township Republicans

PALATINE, Illinois. Palatine Township Republicans voted unanimously on December 5, 2009 to endorse Ryan Higgins over his primary opponent for State Representative for the 56th District.

Higgins said he is honored to have the endorsement of Republicans in the township where he lived for much of his childhood. Higgins is a graduate of St. Theresa Catholic School and William Fremd High School, both in Palatine.

Speaking before the Palatine Township Republican precinct captains, Higgins talked about the need for reform in Illinois.

“Change will require a fresh wave of Republican reformers in the General Assembly, starting right here in the 56th District,” Higgins said. “We need to show voters in our community that we have the solutions to bring our state out of crisis, and the message to inspire our neighbors to stand against corruption, out-of-control spending, and generational debt.”

With the Palatine endorsement, Higgins has secured the support of all three township Republican organizations comprising the 56th District. Earlier this year, Higgins was endorsed by the Schaumburg Township Republican Organization and the Chairman of the Bloomingdale Township Republican Party.
